A good day

No matter what sport or activity makes you happiest, it really is true: A day of _____________(fill in the blank) is better than a day without.

For those of us in Girdwood, Alaska, that love is for skiing and riding. Pure, unadultered sliding on slopes, cold smoke style.

For some, the love for the skiing knows no bounds. Meet three season pass holders who lined up at 8 am on Tuesday, November 22 – the inagural Season Pass Holder Appreciation Ski Day. Ready to go, these guys made bacon n’ eggs in the Tram Line hours before opening. According to FB, they not only fueled up in style, they were rewarded with  fresh pow.

For others, the love of riding the  is their way of life.  Meet the Alyeska Lifty Crew. These are the folks that make it happen EVERY morning. Expert shovelers with a flare for guest service, this team works hard from dawn to dusk.

Come on out and discover why you love the mountains all over again. Happy Thanksgiving!
