Easter 2013 is on the calendar for March 31. The day starts out with a sunrise service at the top of the tram at 8 am. Uploading is complimentary and will begin at 6:30 am. Guests who are planning on attending the Sunday Morning Service will need to show up early as the Alyeska Tram has limited uphill capacity with one car running. Download will follow immediately at 8:30.
Easter Egg Hunt
It wouldn’t be Easter without an Easter Egg hunt. The Easter Bunny has hidden 4,000 eggs in the Pond Courtyard around the tram base and it’s up to the kids to find them. This is also a great chance for kids to meet the bunny and take a few pictures. The egg hunt will begin at 9:45 am.
Easter Sunday would not be complete without Easter Brunch. This year’s brunch at the Pond Cafe and each seating is two hours beginning at 8am, 10am, 12pm and 2 pm. Featured dishes include an Italian Antipasto Tray, Blackened Breat of Chicken, Herb Roasted Prime Rib, made-to-order omelets and waffles, as well as Alaskan favorites and signature dishes including Grilled Steelhead Trout and Smoked Salmon & Gouda Eggs Benedict.
