There are some days where 1,400 skiable acres seems small. And then, there are days when that same acreage seems expansive. Days where you can lay down a few tracks without another soul in sight.
Alyeska’s snow safety, ski patrol and lifty crews have putting in OT this week, and the result is open terrain from New Year’s Chute down to Chump Change, high and low traverse all the way out to the boundary line on Max’s, plus the debut of Headwall. Let’s all give thanks to the mountain crews, Mother Nature and the 640″ of snow we’ve received so far this season. Here’s to spring!
