Seven Glaciers Wine Dinner: Wagner Family Napa California

 

On February 28, 2013 join Alyeska Resort for a Celebration of culinary and wine delights with Seven Glaciers. Seven Glaciers Wine Dinners are designed to educate and inspire all while providing a complete dining experience. Dinner will be seated family-style at 7 PM, and there will be an opportunity to engage with a representative from the winery. Each featured vintner will be paired with a customized Chef’s Tasting Menu prepared by Seven Glaciers Executive Chef Jason Porter.

For five generations, my family has lived and loved the Napa Valley. Our grandfather settled here in the 1800s and from that moment forward, we’ve grown to understand there is simply no substitute for an intimate knowledge of the land that only comes by “living” in the vineyard. Root Beer Glazed Duck Breast
Confi, Beluga Lentils, Carrot Pudding
Pairings:  Belle Glos “Las Alturas” Pinot Noir

Fourth Course:
New York Strip & Braised Short Ribs
Celery Root & Potato Puree, Port Braised Cippolini Onions
Pairing: Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon
